that’s…weirdly coincidental. though i usually give people the answer of “anything”…my real answer is:
music that has a message. (just about anything).

for the first time i’m slightly interested to know who asked this question…anyway.
this is literally going to be the longest text post I’ve ever written…
I guess to do this I have to think of what “best” means- for now I’ll go with people who have made a lasting impression on my life for the short or long term.
If your name doesn’t fall on here- don’t think it means we aren’t friends…just I guess not “best” as according to my definition above.
This oddly alternates between random points of view…lol…
Some of these people i I might not regularly associate with- but they are still people who were influential in my life at some point or another
ALPHABETICAL BEECAUSE YOU’RE ALL RANKED THE SAME.
Aditiya Rao- been there since literally pre school when I used to bite/attack you all the time. Yeah, middle school was pretty awesome too with all the classes we had together/7th grade Spanish/the awesome-est story ever written. I’ve really enjoyed all the conversations we have during our TAKS tests together and during math and lunch. You’re super smart and good luck getting into Stanford!
Andrew Feng- since like middle school, we’ve been basically part of the same group of “Asians” since then- there’s way too much to write here, but tennis and qqing about school in general every year has been fun. Oh you’re super photogenic too…
Bryant Peng- most of middle school of course and tennis the first was awesome, but that conversation we had at the airport about politics and life in general really catches my mind everytime I see you. Good luck with deca treasurer dude and you’re literally one of smartest people I know.
Connie Cheng- someone who’s been there for me whenever I’ve needed her to assist me in anyway…that sounds awkward. But you’ve become a really good friend over the past few years and you’re determination and sense of hope in things recently has really made me admire you as a person.
Dohun Kim- since like all of middle school/debate. Only person I know to rhyme with my name- partners for debate tournaments was lolz. Go watch all those movies before you die and your life will be complete. Debate camp/debate class in general have been epic lolz….we won’t mention those things here. (ie. Me throwing the trash can at you.)

Eric Liu- awww yeah. Walking around airports/menswear conversation has been super fun. Debate class/girls…we’ll leave it at that has been pretty unusually funny as well. Hoping to have a good year as partners next year dude and you have some great jokes too!
George Qi- falls under that same group of people I’ve known since middle school, you’re someone I really was able to talk to when you went to westwood (qq tams) but you’re really smart/the thing that comes to mind is those conversation…we have annually at richard’s birthday party. Oh tennis was fun too!
Jackie Chen- you’re really –Japanese- I’m going to get hit for that I bet. But thank you for listening to the rants where I don’t actually want to talk about things but I hint at them anyway…yeah gj at getting into Dartmouth and basically never attending school …you’re really…fixated on certain issues and never fail to give your opinion (this is a good thing)…also <3 amy!
Jenna Lee- tiffany. Oh wait it’s jenn la. My bad. It’s only been like a year and 6 months since we met in Spanish class but fuck it seems like a lot longer. There’s literally too many movies we’ve seen together or places you’ve paid for me or places where I eat your food or times you weren’t capable of driving or times we’ve been to sonic. Or times we go to really….shady places…yeah that sounds awkward too…but there are few ways I can put this to you. You literally made my day everytime we’ve talked the past year, and dont ever stop being so awkward…
Jessica Hwang- B lunch freshmen year- throw pretzels at people and don’t get caught. Spanish class last year- I get to wear your jacket and roll your backpack around. You’re funny and debate class/tournaments last year were awesome.
Jessica Tom- math freshmen year was super lolz with Mrs. Russell’s awkward comments all the time. Oh we don’t need to go into all of those things…but yeah we talked more during ap exam test week/pre…we should do that more.
Jessica Xiao- oh where do I begin. First I <3 your sister. Nah kidding, your advice and literally ability to talk to me at ANY given time during the day or night is amazing. You’ve been there to listen to every issue I’ve ever had in my life and are truly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. We still have to go get those white skinny jeans and watch the rest of the movies ever made! Sorry about the tumblr incident/you’ll get your texts back…somehow.
Kavina Patel- the youngest person on this list..? you’ve been super good at listening to things when I talk to you/are really short…yeah you walk really slowly too and awkwardly text my sister random things….trolling you is fun.
Kristi Chang- you’ll probably be like wtf when you read this but it’s the same thing that I tumblr messaged you that one time…
Mai-Anh Vu- ahh we need to hang out more! Yeah dude what is lifeee. Anyway one of the most awesome people I know when it comes to just about everything – you’re super smart/photogenic and you’ll probably win some award someday…I should get your autograph.
Mary Jiang- math/tennis the past few years have been really cool. Randomly skyping you/talking to you on gmail is really awesome too…you’re an amazing listener/understander about things during the few times I do get to talk to you. You also wave at me everytime I see you in the hallway! Your tumblr messages are also really punny…
Melissa Wong- I’m glad we were able to talk during that month I guess we knew each other. Our friendship/company to each other is definitely something I know helped both of us during that part in our life. Hipster/fairy wings…
Micheal Wyzykowski- god you jew. Since like middle school/trolling all day. Debate/school/hotel rooms….yeah….too bad we cant be debate camp room mates again (and dye our hair!). I have like those weird emotional breakdowns randomly at some points and thank you for being there during that…the rest I cannot speak off…
Nancy Gao- I enjoy the occasional conversations we have about things in general. Seeing you in Chicago was definitely pretty interesting…not sure what that means but you are definitely someone who I find to be perplexing and will probably never get you completely…oh yeah…get into Harvard.
Pooja Dasari- this cannot be put into words.

Richard Ho- only person on this list taller than me…since like 5th grade in Mrs. Fleming’s class…there’s just way too much in between. I love to touch you in everyplace and those so many nights we’ve spent together at houses are amazing. Gw2 is taking too long qq.
Ricky Chiang- most charismatic person ever and we definitely need to hang out some more- though we got that back together the past year…driving home/stalking jenna with you was super lol/you’re someone I find really easy to talk to about things about. You’re also really smart/we need to sleep together more…with Richard too.
Sailesh Kumar- you make me homosexual- make me smile literally everytime I see you. School since like I was 7 years old has been so awesome with you- 8th grade- u.s. history/newspaper. Good times. Chemistry the past year has been awesome and we definitely need to practice our crow skills so we can beat some noobs.
Sanjai Bashyam- god from that tree I wasn’t allowed to climb up…for like the past 7 years or so it’s been awesome. Playing video games all day/summer long, biking, going places, school, eye contact during classes, day in the life of hernan cortez Spanish project, westwood. Yeah. Too many things to put here. I’m sure we’ve spent over 9000 hours together since we met…
Thanohi Cung/Vo- I still don’t know your last name! anyway our occasional tumblr/gmail conversation are really awesome. We should talk more though but yeah…I remember that time we were webcamming and you were yelling at your brother in the hallway…dont get killed in your house either…
Tracy Tran- shrimp! Everyone reading this should definitely call tracy shrimp from now on… I bet and yeah you’re right…we are really awkward in general together. You make me smile a lot and I’m glad I know you…I should pat your head more too. Your laugh is super loud and you’ve definitely been an amazing friend through everything that happens between us. Thank you for being there and never giving up.
Vamsi Potluri- awww yeah bindi. From like math to being debate partners the past year- we’ve so had our fair share of trolling everything the past year. We should go for tropicality and cut the the 1ac more often and qq cutting 4 affs and not reading them. Tournaments and rounds have been so much fun with you and we’ve done some pretty….insane shit. Oh yeah…we also woke up late that one time and stayed up at glenbrooks….and other things that cannot be spoken off.
My parents and sister of course- but those reasons are a bit more personal and I’m tired of typing.
